Our mission is to equip dedicated mountaineers with innovative, high-quality products for unforgettable experiences outdoors. We are aware that our responsibility extends beyond product quality and includes the consideration of environmental aspects throughout product development, including the integration of recycled materials where deemed appropriate. As a family‑run company, we place great importance on the social dimension, because people are at the heart of everything we do.
Our Commitment
Making sustainability measurable
As a member of Cascale (formerly Sustainable Apparel Coalition), we focus on international collaboration to systematically monitor responsible production practices throughout the entire supply chain. The network brings together companies, manufacturers, NGOs, and other partners with the goal of measuring, tracking and acting on the environmental and social impact of the industry together.
These standardized tools provided by Cascale make it possible to create a data-driven assessment of the environmental and social impacts of our supply chain partners. This way, we get solid insights, spot areas for improvement, and come up with targeted strategies together with our partners.
Responsible material choice
When choosing our fabrics, we pay attention to the highest standards in terms of environmental and consumer protection. bluesign® is an important reference point for us in chemical management. Therefore, we prefer bluesign® certified fabrics when it comes to choosing materials.
Supply Chain
When it comes to bindings and ski touring boots, all production takes place in Europe. Most of our textiles are still sourced from Asia, where we work with partners committed to safe working conditions and high labour standards.
Our products are made in line with our internal human rights due diligence processes. This means we actively work to identify, prevent, mitigate and address any risks or negative impacts that may arise along the supply chain. Our commitment is strong and ongoing, yet no supply chain can ever be completely free from risks or harm. For this reason, we continue to improve our practices and seek better solutions every day.
Fighting for the Snow Leopard
Since 2007, we’ve been supporting the Snow Leopard Trust—not just because the snow leopard is our trademark, but also because it’s an endangered species. Together with our community, we’re dedicated to protecting it.
In total, around €200,000 in donations was raised, complemented by equipment for wildlife rangers and creative fundraising initiatives.
Some of the highlights of our support:
- Snow Leopard Day (since 2010): global events with tens of thousands of participants and over two million vertical meters collected in 2020 alone.
- Sales and auctions of handmade plush toys and ski prototypes
- Additional actions included the sale of a limited Snow Leopard collection (2022)
- Jacket donations for wildlife rangers (2007)
We will continue to work passionately for the protection of the snow leopard, mainly through donations, events, and sustainable projects.
