Snow Leopard Day 2027

Vertical meters for a good cause

Following its successful comeback in 2026, the DYNAFIT International Snow Leopard Day returns for another edition in 2027.

Save the Date: March 6–7, 2027!

Stay tuned! More information about the next Snow Leopard Day will be announced soon. We look forward to it!

What is the DYNAFIT Snow Leopard Day?

The DYNAFIT Snow Leopard Day is an international charity event. The concept is simple: mountain sports enthusiasts, whether on skis or on foot, come together to clock up vertical metres and support snow leopard conservation. For every vertical metre climbed by participants at the events, DYNAFIT donates one cent to the Snow Leopard Trust, an organisation dedicated to protecting this endangered big cat through local conservation projects. In 2026, a total of €25,000 was donated.

Since 2010, the International Snow Leopard Day has been bringing people together in numerous countries. The aim is not to climb as fast or as high as possible. Every contribution counts and helps raise awareness of the need to protect this endangered species.

Where and when does the DYNAFIT Snow Leopard Day take place?

The locations and event dates for 2027 will be announced here soon.

How can I take part in the DYNAFIT Snow Leopard Day?

1. Take part at an official event location

Visit one of the official event locations and collect vertical metres together with other mountain sports enthusiasts. Depending on the location, additional activities and DYNAFIT product testing opportunities may also be available on site.

2. Collect vertical metres individually

Unable to take part at an official event location? No problem! You can record your accumulated vertical metres using GPS and submit your data via the official registration form.

Why do we protect the snow leopard?

The snow leopard is not only DYNAFIT’s brand symbol, it also embodies our DNA: endurance, speed and adaptability. Yet its habitat is shrinking, and the species is considered endangered. Climate change, the loss of natural habitats and conflicts between humans and wildlife pose major challenges to the snow leopard. Our special connection to this remarkable animal has grown into a long-term commitment: DYNAFIT has been supporting the Snow Leopard Trust since 2007.

As part of the 2026 Snow Leopard Day, DYNAFIT supported the Snow Leopard Trust’s project “Frozen Peaks: Protecting the Snow Leopard’s Glaciers”. Together with international partners, the initiative is committed to protecting the high-altitude ecosystems in southern Kyrgyzstan and preserving the habitat of the endangered snow leopard. One key focus is glacier protection, as glaciers are essential for the region’s water supply. The donations help translate scientific findings into new legal frameworks for glacier protection and advance important conservation measures in the Pamir-Alay Mountains.
