The Blacklight Series has been made to live up to the demands of the highest mountains, longest climbs on alpine terrain, and steepest descents.

Our goal: to offer touring skis with outstanding Speed performance. The reason we designed our new Blacklight Series was to be able to offer you the lightest touring skis for speed ascents, because when it comes to speed ski touring, it comes down to lightness and stability.

The 100% full carbon fiber construction made of UD Carbon is reinforced with a superlight wood core, made of Paulownia. This construction gives the BLACKLIGHT touring skis the ideal performance weight with no compromises on a steep descent.

On a Speed Tour expedition in Nepal, the Blacklight Skis proved that they embody the DYNAFIT brand values of speed, lightness, endurance and technology. Ski mountaineer Benedikt Böhm set a new speed record on Daulaghiri 7 by using the new Blacklight Ski.

The Blacklight are completely suited for the most adverse conditions. After summiting the Dhaulagiri VII (7,246 meters) in one push, Benedikt Böhm said “Even on the highest mountains on this planet, you can rely 110 percent on the performance of the Blacklight Ski, and you are fast and safe out on the mountain.” In total, his extreme tour from base camp to summit and back again took 7 hours, 53 minutes. Benedikt attributes his success on this tour to his training and the Speed Touring characteristics of the Blacklight Ski.
