The insulation’s open construction method protects you by keeping out cold air yet at the same time allowing excess body heat to escape. The outer fabric of the jacket is wind- and water-resistant as well as abrasion-resistant so that you can wear it as an outer layer on an ascent on most days. Stretch inserts ensure outstanding freedom of movement. You can stow the jacket in its hood so it packs down small to stash in your pack. Two front zip pockets offer space to carry essentials. Reflectivity lends safety in the dark.
