DYNAFIT AND PRIMALOFT® BRING THE MOUNTAINS TO THE SILVER SCREEN

Munich/Aschheim, August 2011: DYNAFIT, the leading brand in ski touring and ski mountaineering, and PrimaLoft®, the innovative manufacturer of insulating materials, are extending their partnership on a marketing level and will start a European film tour in October and November 2011. With 17 locations in Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Spain, the tour will be coming to the most important Alpine countries in cooperation with the best local trading partners. Under the heading ‘BEST OF SKI MOUNTAINEERING’, DYNAFIT and PrimaLoft® will be presenting an amazing, high-quality portfolio from all areas of first-class ski mountaineering.

Benedikt Böhm, managing director of DYNAFIT, is looking forward to the new joint project: ‘DYNAFIT has been working with PrimaLoft® since the very beginning. Jochen Lagemann, European sales and marketing director at PrimaLoft®, also emphasised the excellent long-lasting cooperation between the two brands: ‘The DYNAFIT athletes test the PrimaLoft® styles on expeditions, in ski-touring races and in other extreme situations during the prototype phase, before the products are launched onto the market. The plan includes exciting short films showing every facet of ski mountaineering: freeride touring in Patagonia, the history of a long series of ski expeditions and a documentary about the successful Spanish ski-touring racer Mireia Miró. The subject of what ski mountaineers do in the summer is also dealt with. This film accompanies five ski-touring athletes on a summer tour that takes them up four summits in four countries in just four days. The two DYNAFIT ski-touring athletes Basti Haag and Thomas Steiner appear in one of the programme highlights, called ‘Los Andes’, which presents breathtaking pictures from a four-week tour of the Andes. The DYNAFIT-PRIMALOFT® film tour will be on sale from September 2011.
