July 2011. A long-term project has come to fruition – a new era for DYNAFIT has arrived. "DYNAFIT goes speed mountaineering, DYNAFIT goes summer!".
DYNAFIT invited the greatest specialists across the Alpine regions to the Garmisch-Partenkirchen ski stadium for July 3rd-5th and spared no effort in the presentation of their products.
DYNAFIT Alpine running & Alpine biking was directly experienced live by an international circle of 350 dealers, media partners, and sportspeople from 15 countries across Europe, America and Asia.

After years in development, DYNAFIT dared to make a big step forward on the basis of a successful winter season! The rubric "SPEED MOUNTAINEERING" will be used to cover DYNAFIT's alpine expertise as applied to the summer season, and applies to usage in the areas of ALPINE RUNNING & ALPINE BIKING.
The ski-touring specialists spared no expense or effort for the launch of the summer collection. The Garmisch ski stadium provided the perfect atmosphere for the festivities.
One of the high points of the event was a mountain and biking tour planned and run by the partner mountaineering schools "Hindelanger Mountain Guide Office“ and "Hydro-Alpin". The guests were given an opportunity to test apparel and rucksacks from the new collection.
The visitors experienced two exciting and unique - but also relaxing - days together with the international DYNAFIT community. The meals and accommodation were also an integral part of the event. A DYNAFIT camp was set up at the end of the ski jump in the Garmisch Olympic stadium, and the summer collection was presented in the adjacent events marquee.
DYNAFIT's presentation was followed by a thrilling display by the Flying Bike Boys and a sports fashion show.
The whole team and guests partied the night away that evening – with live music from "The Dibbs" – and plenty of reasons to celebrate.

DYNAFIT's core values of Speed, Lightness, Technology and Performance are given sharp focus in the summer collection.
But the starting point of reference in the development of the summer collection was, as usual, the sportspeople themselves. The film of the X4 story was premiered to give a background on the sportspeople involved and provide a context for this unique event. DYNAFIT sportspeople Benedikt Böhm, Schorsch Nickaes, Elmar Tritscher, Javier Martin de Villa and Pete Swenson completed 13,200 metres of ascent in four days. That’s 4 days, in 4 neighbouring Alpine countries, to 4 summits, with 4 friends. On foot, by bike, and on skis – the sporting challenges involved and DYNAFIT's search for exceptional product solutions in its first summer collection are all brought into focus within the X4 story.
It is the largest project which DYNAFIT has ever tackled, and we were delighted to invite our closest partners.
