SURROUNDED BY THE KING OF MOUNTAINS

Dynafit Gran Paradiso

Gran Paradiso is situated in the oldest national park in Italy of the same name. Located entirely within the park’s 700 km2 (274 mi2), it is thus the only 4000er that is totally on Italian soil. Created in 1856 to protect the Alpine ibex, the King of Mountains and the surrounding national park offer the perfect departure point for our ski mountaineering tour’s destination. Gran Paradiso beckons not only with its firn snow-covered slopes, but it also considered one of the least difficult to climb among 4000ers in the Alps.

The two-day ski mountaineering tour will include a descent of 2,100 vertical meters (6,890 vertical feet) of pure pleasure. It demands good ski touring condition and experience, which will be rewarded with a heavenly view and the Madonna statue on the summit. Once you arrive at the summit, one of the highest, most spectacular and most aesthetically appealing peaks in the West Alps awaits you. Expect also a mountain panorama that reaches from Monteviso to Mont Blanc all the way to the Matterhorn and Monte Rosa.

Dynafit and experienced mountain guides will accompany and guide the ski tour and will also outfit you with the appropriate gear, including the Primaloft Traverese Hybrid jacket.
