The Ecole Nationale de Ski et d'Alpinisme (ENSA - National School of Skiing and Alpinism) is a public establishment that has been commissioned by the State to improve the management of mountain sports jobs, to carry out studies and analyses in the area of mountain safety and to contribute to training high-level sportspeople. In Europe, the ENSA extends its action by receiving and participating in training managers and trainers from the European space. It also places its expertise at the service of distant missions in the area of training and development.
Because the ENSA has an exceptional training ground: the Mont-Blanc range, and because it brings together a team of teachers and managers who have forged their know-how on the world's pistes and summits, it takes part in innovating and evolving skiing and alpinism techniques and materials.
The ENSA works under the aegis of the Ecole Nationale des Sports de Montagne (ENSM - National School of Mountain Sports).
