Step 1 - Welcome to the DYNAFIT Training for the Patrouille des Glaciers 2012!

Thank you very much for your application to the DYNAFIT PDG Camps! We are very pleased about your interest in our events and the Ski Touring sport, which creates so much joy, spirit and energy. Around 500 athletes from around the world showed an enthusiastic interest in participating in the sports and adventure event and they are sending impressive and compelling applications. We are going to meet soon at the first Trainings Camp from 14th to 15th of January 2012 in Munich at the performance analysis and the Hindelang ski training camp (Bad Hindelang – Germany)

Step 2 - DYNAFIT´s training for the PDG – the world´s hardest skitouring race!

A good ski racer needs passion, endurance and high fitness. To get you physically and mentally in shape, DYNAFIT trains 15 athletes in three camps. You can follow the training online her or at www.facebook.com/dynafit and profit for your personal training!

Hindelang ski training camp (Bad Hindelang, Germany)
The first day, we will check your fitness by doing several tests. The second day, we really get started. The basics are trained to prepare you in the best way for the upcoming camps and race.

Camp 2

04/02 - 05/02/2012
Education and training courses in Allgäu (Germany)
Within these two days experienced guides will complete the first ski touring trips with you. Tours over 3000m will help us to get a first impression of your fitness.

Camp 3

18/04 until 22/04/2012
Nomination of training camp at Pizzini lodge/Ortler (Italy)
In Südtirol our third camp will take place. Long stages with rope and climbing spurs must be mastered. The best three can save themselves a place in one of the teams by being the fastest in an internal race. 25/04 to 28/04/2012
Participation in the Patrouille des Glaciers (CH)
After a hard training course, three ambitious teams will participate in the hardest ski race from Zermatt to Verbier at the end of April.

Step 3 - Final Dynafit Team for PDG 2012!

From all 15 participants we will choose 9 and split them into three teams according to their physical fitness and skills checked in the camps.
